Fail to prepare? Prepare to fail. Truth time, I’m terrified of squatting heavier because of failing. I’ve watched hundred of videos of what to do but watching and trying are two different things. I’d never practiced what I do if I get too low, I forget to put the safety arms on, or if something just were to go wrong… so Zac from werkhaus_to offered to help show me. In just having someone teach me what to do in one lesson, I already feel so much more confident with a bar on my back. I’m super super grateful to Zac for showing me but also starting to instill confidence in me which I hope will take me to much heavier lifts!! I hugely recommend if you don’t know something, ask. You don’t know what you don’t know and one MAJOR thing I learnt is in general my squat form was off too!! So in one lesson with Zac, he taught me so much practical and technical information - looking forward to putting it to practice for sure.
